Activity: Committing to a Mental Health Workgroup

In order for a Mental Health Workgroup to be successful, there needs to be strong commitment and leadership for the group. Take a few minutes and think about what would be the biggest benefits to having such a group in your program. Then, identify the challenges that you may need to address in making such a group successful.

TIP: It might be a good idea to have all of the members of your Mental Health Workgroup do this activity at one of the first group meetings, to discuss what is most important and how the group can maintain momentum.
